As precious and current supporters of CCU Wesley I wanted to be sure to share with you an upcoming exciting opportunity for your congregation to participate in continuing to support our awesome CCU Wesley students!

On February 22nd beginning at 1:00 pm we will host our first annual CCU Wesley Golf Tournament! The tournament will be played at Burning Ridge Golf Club and will include lunch, golf, and the chance for some fun prizes! Be sure to register your team to play soon, as we do have a limited number of team spots.

If golf is not your sport (or is!!) and you would like to support these awesome students and this event, you can become a hole sponsor for $150.

-About every 2 seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood.

-A single blood donation can save up to 3 lives.

-Only 3% of age-eligible individuals in the U.S. give blood each year.

-Most blood types fall into one of the four major groups: A, B, AB, O. However, some people have rare blood types that fall outside the major groups, and for these patients, we need a more diverse blood supply.

-Black or African American blood donors are particularly important to patients with rare blood types who often need blood donated by someone with a similar race or ethnicity.
