The Socastee Untied Methodist Church Cemetery was established sometime around 1818 when the church was founded. In teh beginning the cemetery was for the entire Socastee Community. While some of the early graves are now unmarked, most othe graves from as early as 1873 are still well marked and located in the directory below. We hope this directory aids persons in locating their loved ones.
